ABOUT THE PRINTS

 I am a western artist from Loveland, Colorado.  I have been a big John Denver fan since 1974.  I knew the day we lost John that I was going to do a life-size painting of John Denver and my hope was to have it on display in Denver, Colorado.

For the last five years, I have worked with John’s former manager and one of John’s closest friends, Mr. Hal Thau.  I am happy to say that I completed the life-size painting of John Denver and the title is “Almost Heaven”, named after the Broadway musical, Songs and Stories of John Denver, created by Hal Thau and now playing in Denver, Colorado.  The painting will tour internationally with the show.

I am also excited to tell you, along with Windstar Productions, (John Denver’s Estate), I have released the first in a series of limited edition collector Gicleé’ canvas prints from the original painting, “Almost Heaven.”  The print is offered in several formats for the John Denver fan and collector.  This fine art print is my tribute to John Denver and I am very proud to have worked with Hal Thau and the John Denver Estate in keeping the legacy and spirit of John Denver alive by producing what is surely to become a collector’s item. Also I am donating a portion of the sales from this print to  the John Denver Estate and charities.
